Interlock Technology Taps UK Reciprocal Group as Partner

For EMC Centera migration solution

Interlock Technology, Inc., a provider of archive data migrations for EMC Centera storage solutions, has entered into a partnership agreement naming Reciprocal Group as one of Interlock’s main EMEA Centera migration delivery partners.

Reciprocal Group is based in the UK and is a consulting partner for storage solutions. Interlock will provide Reciprocal with both archive migration technology as well as Interlock certification training for several Reciprocal engineers. This will enable Reciprocal to delivery an Interlock certified data migration for Centera storage, and to serve as one of Interlock’s main EMEA delivery partners.

Reciprocal manages the complete lifecycle of data from storage through testing. By partnering with Interlock’s archive migration technology, Reciprocal ensures its clients receive the fastest, safest archive migration, as well as the ability to migrate a wider range of applications than any other service provider. By becoming a certified Interlock delivery partner, Reciprocal can perform the data migrations themselves while relying on Interlock’s technology and expertise. For Interlock, this partnership also provides additional staff to resell Interlock’s service technology and support sales in EMEA. In addition, both companies have deep expertise in Symantec’s Enterprise Vault (EV) technology. Interlock is a Symantec Certified Partner for archive data migration and Reciprocal is the only company Symantec has signed to be an EV migration subcontractor for EV migrations from Centera.

This partnership represents a great blend of strengths, especially considering both companies have a strong background in migrating Symantec’s Enterprise Vault technology,” stated Gary Lieberman, co-founder and CEO, Interlock Technology, “Interlock gains a valued business partner that helps us expand our ability to reach and serve new EMEA customers. Reciprocal gains the use of our best-of-breed archive data migration technology, as well as the training to become an Interlock certified delivery partner.” Lieberman continues, “Interlock and Reciprocal have already successfully worked together on several major Centera data migrations, including delivering a solution for a Global Investment Bank that was distributed over three different continents. We look forward to a successful and lucrative partnership

We are excited by the synergies of this partnership,” said Andrew James, partner and business development director, Reciprocal Group. “We have worked with Interlock on multiple different data migrations for clients such as Tower Hamlets, Devon Exeter and Atos. By taking this partnership to the next level, we will strengthen both companies’ offerings and opportunities.” Andrew continued, “Both companies have extensive background in Enterprise Vault, NICE, OpenText, DiskXtender, PACS and many other common programs our clients need migrated from Centera storage. We are excited by the opportunity to bring Interlock’s technology in-house and provide this leading archive migration solution to our clients.

Interlock Technology was the first company to offer Centera archive data migrations and has expertise that enables it to handle the challenging migrations. With its storage agnostic technology, it can migrate data to and from any storage provider that a client selects. In addition, it offers transparency during the migration, with pre-migration assessments and post-migrations reports. This ensures that there is an audit trail and preserves chain-of-custody, for legal and regulatory compliance.
