Ingram Micro Distributor of Tegile

In Canada

Ingram Micro Canada, a subsidiary of Ingram Micro Inc., announced a new distribution agreement with Tegile Systems, Inc., a provider of flash-driven storage arrays for database, virtualized server and virtual desktop environments.

Available to Ingram Micro channel partners throughout Canada, Tegile Systems’ portfolio of flash arrays delivers data management capabilities while supporting a range of storage media under a single storage OS. Offering channel partners the opportunity to deepen their penetration into the data center, Tegile flash storage arrays provide data protection, with support for NAS and SAN connectivity.

Tegile Systems is an exciting player in the competitive flash storage space and represents an outstanding addition to our line card as well as a versatile option for our partners, whether they’re operating with smaller workloads or mission-critical deployments,” said Dave Mason, executive director, advanced solutions, Ingram Micro Canada. “With Tegile, our channel partners can dial up or down the amount of flash storage they need and at the same time gain the high performance of flash with the economics of disk storage. It’s a powerful combination that will not only perform well for our mutual partners and their customers, but also complement Ingram Micro’s growing storage and data center offerings.

Designed to be easy to use, redundant and scalable, Tegile flash storage arrays come complete with built-in snapshot, remote-replication, near-instant recovery, onsite or offsite failover and VM-aware features to provide data protection and security. Anchored by  patented IntelliFlash OS technology, the storage arrays enable inline deduplication and compression of data, making the usable capacity greater than its raw capacity to optimize value and performance.

With Tegile, Ingram Micro Canada channel partners will be able to cover a lot of ground with a single product line, from all-flash and hybrid storage to VM-aware storage,” said Rob Commins, VP marketing, Tegile. “This all-in-one approach will allow our mutual channel partners to reduce training costs, simplify sales and ensure end users are deploying the best-fit storage infrastructure for their unique requirements. With our shared interest in innovation and emerging technologies, we look forward to engaging in a strong and lasting business relationship with Ingram Micro Canada.

Ingram Micro Canada has assembled a team of technical support, professional services, sales and marketing associates dedicated to fueling partner growth with Tegile offerings.
