With Peak's enterprise cloud and NetApp storage platform

Peak (formerly PeakColo), an enterprise Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud provider for channel partners, announces that FusionStorm, Inc, an IT solution provider, is boosting its cloud computing service by integrating Peak’s secure cloud infrastructure and NetApp storage platform.

FusionStorm is leveraging Peak’s cloud nodes located in Chicago, IL, and Santa Clara, CA.

With clients in more than 30 countries, FusionStorm has a long history of solving business issues for clients by providing expertise in data center technologies, networking, communication and collaboration. It offers logistical capabilities and customs knowledge to enable the delivery of multi-vendor technology solutions around the world. Its engineering team provides a suite of professional services, coordinating the efforts of local engineering resources for onsite implementation and 24×7 support.

As a global IT solution provider and Avnet Technology Solutions‘ partner, FusionStorm was introduced to Peak through Avnet, a distributor of electronic components, computer products and embedded technology. Avnet’s cloud service powered by Peak was announced in 2013 and is based on NetApp Private Storage for Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS).

Peak’s cloud also allows us to easily integrate a NetApp storage component, which is key for our customers.

Partnerships with VARs such as FusionStorm are a testament to the success of Peak’s 100% channel-centric model,” states Luke Norris, CEO and founder, Peak. “Peak works very closely with our channel partners to understand their business goals in order to design a solid cloud and storage infrastructure to extend to their clients. It’s exciting to see our partners enhance their core offerings and leverage cloud technology to solve business issues.

Peak’s dedicated private cloud is based on a flexible, pay-as-you-go model, allowing partners on-demand scalability and performance backed by a 100% performance SLA. As a Platinum-level NetApp Service Provider, Peak’s storage environment is one of the most robust nationally in terms of size, scale and volume.
