Egenera in Partnership With Asigra

Egenera, Inc., a provider of wholesale cloud services and cloud management software to the channel, and Asigra Inc., a cloud backup, recovery and restore software provider, announced a partnership that enables Egenera to deliver a secure Backup as a Service wholesale offering.

Egenera announces the availability of Xterity Essential Backup as a Service (E-BaaS), a BC solution to backup and protect off cloud desktops, laptops and servers to Xterity wholesale managed cloud.

E-BaaS is based on industry multi-tenant, agentless Asigra Cloud Backup and is well suited for organizations with remote employees and branch offices seeking safe, secure daily backups to the cloud.

Xterity’s BC offerings include three choices, including Xterity E-BaaS, Xterity Premier BaaS (P-BaaS), and Xterity Premier DR as a Service (P-DRaaS) to provide IT solutions for companies of all sizes, and with varying needs.

Xterity Essential BaaS provides ‘set it and forget it’ backup simplicity for end user devices (desktops, laptops) and servers requiring daily backups with a standard 30-day retention.

Xterity Premier BC services include both DR and backup services for companies requiring more flexible, customizable backup frequency and retention options, and 24x7x365 status monitoring by Xterity Cloud Operations.
