Carbonite Distributed by Synnex

Carbonite, Inc., a provider of backup and recovery solutions for businesses, has expanded its distribution network through an agreement with SYNNEX Corporation, a distributor of IT products and services.

The agreement allows SYNNEX’ CLOUDSolv group to distribute Carbonite’s platform of affordable and secure cloud backup solutions SMBs. SYNNEX is one of the first distributors to offer Carbonite’s plans to their extensive reseller base.

SYNNEX was chosen as a Carbonite distributor due to its strength in cloud solutions and the SMB technology market. It simplifies the process of purchasing and managing cloud with CLOUDSolv, its marketplace for SaaS solutions. It supports many of its SMB resellers through its peer-to-peer community, Varnex, a group of SYNNEX resellers united in a spirit of collaboration to drive growth and achieve success in the IT channel.

Carbonite Server also backups the Windows System State so a server can be restored without reconfiguring the OS or reloading applications. Carbonite Server solutions start at $799.99 per year.
• Carbonite Pro provides backup storage for an unlimited number of computers, external HDDs and NAS devices, starting at $269.99 per year. Additional storage and Windows file server backup are also available with Carbonite Pro.
• Carbonite Personal offers unlimited backup for one computer starting at $59.99 per year.
