Avnet Being Australian Distributor of Micron

Micron Technology, Inc. has appointed Avnet, Inc., a technology distributor, as an Australian distributor for Micron’s Crucial and Ballistix brands of SSDs and DRAM products.

Avnet takes a solutions specialist approach by offering software, hardware and services from innovative companies to help its customers capitalize on Avnet’s relationships with industry suppliers, like Micron, and accelerate their success in markets around the world.

Richard Clarke, national sales manager, Micron, explained: “Avnet’s unique business model allows them to cater to rapidly changing market trends, providing customers with an in-depth understanding of technology and fast order fulfillment. Avnet is aligned with our business strategy and an ideal partner to take Crucial and Ballistix SSD and DRAM products to the market.“
