Atto Becoming Certified Dell Technology Partner

FC HBAs and 10GbE NIC for PowerEdge servers

ATTO Technology, Inc. has become a certified partner in Dell Technology Partner Program.

As part of the program, ATTO has certified its Celerity Gen 5 powered HBAs and FastFrame 10GbE NICs to run with Dell PowerEdge servers.

The company also recently certified its ExpressSAS R680 RAID adapters with the PowerVault MD3060e to provide solutions for growing business demands in enterprise environments.

The PowerEdge servers are engineered with a combination of features and performance scalability to handle tough workloads for both large and small data environments. This coupled with ATTO’s performance and latency management, provides solutions to keep pace with growing business demands in workgroup, departmental and enterprise infrastructures.

ATTO is excited to continue our longstanding relationship with Dell who, like ATTO, innovates next-generation solutions for the full breadth of the market, from workgroup to enterprise infrastructures, solving the industry’s toughest computing challenges,” said Wayne Arvidson, VP marketing and channels, ATTO. “Our 25-year track record of developing innovation has helped revolutionize file-based workflows and we are very excited to be a part of this cutting-edge Dell solution.

16Gb Gen 5 powered line of FC products provide an end-to-end solution for managing data-intensive, high-transaction rate applications. Gen 5 FC SANs are the purpose-built, data center infrastructures for storage, while delivering reliability, simplicity and performance. ATTO’s FC solutions unleash the potential of performance computing, density server virtualization, cloud architectures and next-gen storage connectivity.

Celerity FC HBAs are designed to cover the performance spectrum from enterprise to workgroup, and server to workstation environments. This integrated family of adapters is engineered to optimize data transfer using a combination of features that enhance the data delivery process and is scalable.

Celerity Gen 5 Powered 16Gb FC quad-channel HBAs address the needs of Linux and Windows platforms in HPC, virtualization and other high IOP environments typically found in enterprise data centers. ATTO’s Advanced Data Streaming (ADS) provides low latency and high bandwidth transfers for data intensive applications, while MultiPath Director enables direct access to HA, high performance, enterprise storage for shared workflows.

FastFrame 10GbE NICs comprise a portfolio for flexible design and can be used anywhere in the infrastructure, including workstations, servers and data center racked servers with Mac, Windows and Linux (server and workstation) OSs. The flexibility of the FastFrame product line extends architecture options as they are available in both optical and 10GBASE-T configurations.

In addition, ATTO and Dell have been instrumental in the implementation of the Adobe Anywhere solution. With this collaborative workflow platform, editors, visual effects artists and other video professionals can use local or remote networks to simultaneously access, stream and edit remotely stored files. ADS technology manages latency in demanding real-time environments, resulting in accelerated application performance and enhanced overall throughput.

A number of live demonstrations of ATTO’s Celerity and FastFrame will be showcased at NAB show in Las Vegas, NV, April 7 through April 10. The company will also be represented in over 70 booths throughout the show floor.
