The HC500 external storage HDD attaches to your smart television or PC via ant USB 3.0 cable, and sports a sandblasted titanium or gold casing. Available in 500GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities, the HC500 HDD comes with backup software that allows you backup data, and then set up your own personal data cloud using a PC or smartphone.

Your Personal Data Cloud
You can set up the Choice HC500 HDD as a personal data cloud First, take your pick of either 500GB, 1TB or 2TB of storage space. Next, install the smart backup software that comes with your HC500 and backup personal business files, pictures, movies and other media using your PC or smartphone. Then install software to set up your HC500 as your own personal cloud. With NTI’s Backup Now EZ & MiST personal backup and cloud software you can conduct backups and have access your external HDD from any location. Backup Now EZ & MiST is available for Windows, while only MiST is available for MacIntosh OS, Android, and iOS.

Shock Protection/ USB 3.0
The Choice HC500 HDD helps backup your data not only on the cloud, but provides local protection. If your HDD suffers a severe shock from being struck, Adata’s G Shock Sensor Protection automatically starts up and displays a flashing red light on your HC500 interface. When the shock has passed, a blue light displays indicating normal operation has resumed. While your HC500 HDD comes loaded with the USB 3.0 interface, it’s also USB 2.0 backwards compatible for legacy devices.
