Hitachi/HDS Fiscal Year Financial Results

Hitachi Ltd. announced the financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2015.

Revenue of storage solutions only was better than expected, reaching ¥485 billion (US GAAP) and increasing 10% from ¥439 billion the former year.

For the most recent quarter, it was ¥131 billion compared to ¥116 billion one year ago, or a growth of 11%.

The company projects sales of ¥230 billion, up 6% Y/Y for the first six month period ended September 30, 2015, and ¥510 billion for the next entire fiscal year, a yearly increase of 5%.

Among the biggest companies in storage subsystems, Hitachi/HDS is the only one that was growing in 1CQ15.
