Rakuten From Japan Deploys Box

As internal content sharing platform

Box, Inc. announced that Rakuten, Inc., one of the world’s leading Internet services companies, has introduced Box’s cloud content sharing platform.

Rakuten chose Box to enable secure content collaboration under a mobile environment, between its employees in all of its group companies, working both inside and outside of Japan.

Box makes it for more than 37 million individuals at over 47,000 businesses around the world to share, access and collaborate on files securely.

With this announcement, Rakuten joins a list of firms who have moved to Box, including global companies like General Electric, Schneider Electric and AstraZeneca.
