Upstream Launches Secure Cloud Storage Offering, Cloudeasy, for Mobile Network Operators

Upstream Ltd, a mobile commerce accelerator, announces the launch of Cloudeasy, a cloud storage offering for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), in partnership with cloud storage expert pCloud AG

Cloudeasy is a secure, bespoke storage application that gives MNOs the ability to offer to their customers over 100GB of storage, over cloud technology. The solution is available through a subscription of weekly or daily micro-payments, via MNO billing, meaning that no credit card is required. It has been developed to operate over app, mobile responsive web-portal and desktop, and can store a variety of file formats.

Cloudeasy offers following services:

• Offline access: Facilitating access of files marked as ‘favourites’ at any time, so that there is no need to use mobile data to re-access these documents
• End-to-end encryption: Ensuring that users’ sensitive information is protected, through the inclusion of an additional level of security
• Sync and backup: Allowing users to synchronise changes made to documents in real time
• Social sharing: Enabling users to invite friends and contacts to access and collaborate on folders
