UnCrashableDR is a DRaaS where servers are UnCrashable.

The company also announces it is a sponsor of the OpenStack Foundation and will contribute its knowledge of DR cloud with the community. OpenStack is an open source cloud computing platform that allows the management of large pools of compute, storage, and networking resources in cloud environments.

UnCrashable DR allows MSPs to backup and launch an entire enterprise network or data center and server infrastructure. You can launch site-to-site and site-to-multi-site VPNs, drag and drop network creation in your browser, virtual routers, Firewall as a Service, and VPN as a Service. It includes isolated single-tenant networks giving control over network topology, IP addressing, network security, and architecture.

Servosity’s UnCrashableDR cloud is the first OpenStack cloud purpose-built solely for DR. Our DR as a Service (DRaaS) offering leverages the latest OpenStack release, Havana. Using the OpenStack Havana release gives our clients capabilities and features that are not available anywhere else.” said Damien Stevens, founder and CEO, Servosity.

OpenStack is pleased to welcome Servosity as a new sponsor of the OpenStack Foundation and look forward to the launch of Servosity’s DR cloud based on OpenStack,” said Heidi Bretz, director of business development, OpenStack Foundation. “Servosity brings a lot of experience working with DR and can contribute that valuable insight to the community.

What makes UnCrashableDR different?
You will be able to use the company’s software to protect physical and VMs, but also it will allow replication of infrastructure and application to provide full BC. The object storage gives speed, scale, and cost benefits to MSPs and their customers. In the event of a disaster, it will give the confidence to businesses that no matter the disaster, servers will be backup and running with the click of a button.

It is not effective, but includes cost benefits due to less capital asset costs and includes usage-based billing when a disaster strikes.

Servosity’s UnCrashableDR has transformed the primitive, support-ticket based DR model into a modern DR in the cloud model that provides instantaneous booting of backup instances and network configuration of multiple booted instances though the customer’s browser. Virtual routers, Virtual firewalls, and VPN’s are all managed through a common, browser-based control panel by the customer instantly and whenever they choose. Our storage is object based, and our infrastructure is highly available. Servosity has defined the new generation of DR as a Service,” said Fury Christ, VP of development, Servosity
