The service is
online, and users can sign up for the service at the Genie website.

Users have access to
a cloud platform that works with Genie’s existing storage back end.
Customers can access their data from an integrated cloud drive on
Windows, Mac, or Linux and also gain access to synchronization
tooling for each of these OSs. Data is also accessible from any of
the native iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7 and
Windows Tablet mobile tools.

"We are
delighted to add Genie as another Internet Service Providers that has
deployed the SME cloud appliance,
" Storage Made Easy CEO Jim
Liddle stated. "It now joins the considerable number of ISPs
and MSPs using the SME appliance. Our software can be deployed and
customized very quickly and is attractive to service providers
because it can use their existing storage such as WebDav, FTP,
OpenStack etc., or they can choose to use cloud storage such as
Amazon S3, RackSpace, cloud files, or a myriad of others."

"Using the SME technology gave us leading advantage as
compared to the competition,"
Lior Mizrachi, CTO, Genie,
said. "We’re implementing the solution in organizations with
a variety of working methods and security options.
