Aruba S.p.A present Cloud DRaaS, an DR service for professional, simple and safe protection of infrastructures, whether they are hosted in data centers, server rooms of customers, or in the Aruba Private Cloud.

The DRaaS – DR as a Service – replica mechanism is based on Zerto, Inc.‘s technology which protects, recovers and migrates applications in cloud and virtualized data centers. With a single click it’s possible to start the full auto recovery process. DRaaS, furthermore, ensures minimum impact, both in terms of RTO (time required to fully recover the services) and in terms of RPO (amount of data left unsynchronized in case of disaster).

Main features:

• Flexible management and simple use: create directives and DR policies directly from the web control panel, by choosing the source and destination between the infrastructure, based on VMware technology, found in a personal data center and the infrastructure hosted in Aruba’s Private Cloud-enabled data centers which also use VMware vCloud Director.

• Speed: in just a few minutes it’s possible to create self-consistent replicas between remote sites and activate a perfectly functional DR process, with an RPO reduced to a minimum with values that can vary from a fews to a few minutes, even for international distances.

• Free tests: customers can run DR tests at any time – to ensure the DR process works – by activating the machines found on the secondary site, without interfering in any way with the production machines.

• Managed option: allow the Aruba qualified technical team to manage the entire life cycle of the DR solution.

• Service level agreement: the guarantee of performance levels of the provided services correspond to a S.L.A. level of 99,95%.

Still in accordance with its DR policies, Aruba Cloud provides new ‘Regions’ for activating the data cloud backup service also available in France, Germany and the UK.
