SanDisk Restructuring
Separates unified enterprise and client platform groups.

From an organization perspective, it is combining all enterprise solutions teams, including InfiniFlash system solutions and software, under a unified enterprise group led by Sumit Sadana, chief strategy officer.
SanDisk hopes to enable greater synergies between the teams, accelerate decision-making and improve execution in enterprise.
John Scaramuzzo, SVP, enterprise storage solutions and Ravi Swaminathan, VP, systems and software solutions, will report to Sadana.
Furthermore, the flash maker is combining its mobile solutions and client SSD groups into one focused on client platforms led by Drew Henry, who was in cherge of the mobile solutions group.
In addition, SanDisk have created a CTO position that will be assumed by Kevin Conley, its former SVP and GM of client storage solutions since 2011. Before that, he was VP engineering at Corsair for two years after leaving SanDisk he joined in 1993. Formerly he as manager, electronic design at Bi-Search Corp. and product/firmware engineer for defunct HDD maker Kalok Corporation.
