Nasuni Grew New Customer Bookings By 402% From 1Q14 to 1Q15

And number of new customers up 111%

Nasuni Corp., provider of cloud NAS to distributed organizations, announced the results of a record-breaking first quarter for the company.

In 1Q15, Nasuni’s new customer bookings quintupled compared to the same period in 2014.

Traditional file storage systems cannot cope with the serious challenges that enterprise IT is facing today. File data is growing at 30% or more annually, users are demanding fast access to corporate file data no matter where they are located, and data protection systems are strained to the limit, with costs spiraling out of control. As a result, distributed organizations are increasingly turning to cloud NAS as a high-performance, cost-effective solution to move files out of the data center and into the cloud.

Nasuni’s cloud NAS service combines on-premises hardware, which acts as intelligent, high-performance access points, with cloud storage controlled by Nasuni’s patented UniFS cloud file system. As a result, the company delivers a secure cloud NAS solution that provides fast access to a corporate file share for users, simple and centralized management for IT, and an easily scalable, complete storage service for the distibuted enterprise.

This momentum has enabled Nasuni to achieve additional milestones
in 1Q15 over the same period in 2014:

  • The number of new customers grew 111%;
  • Total contract value grew 207%; and
  • Total data under management grew 165%.

CIOs are rapidly modernizing their data centers with flash and other high performance hardware,” said Andres Rodriguez, CEO, Nasuni. “But that high performance comes at a high cost, and, as a result, IT is eager to move files out of the data center and into the cloud. Thankfully for CIOs, the future of storage is available: cloud NAS.
