Cloud Service Provider OffsiteDataSync Adds New Data Center

In Singapore

Matthew Chesterton, CEO, OffsiteDataSync, Inc., stated: “Entry into the APAC market is a key move for OffsiteDataSync because it allows us to extend our service model to US-based mid-market and enterprise clientele who have international offices and facilities in the Far East. This also marks a milestone in our ability to serve clientele in the APAC market with low latency, high quality service and expand our footprint into additional markets in 2016 and 2017.

The announcement is accompanied by the launch of Veeam-powered availability services by OffsiteDataSync in their Singapore location. Veeam Software, Inc. is a provider of solutions that deliver availability for the Always-On Enterprise, including Cloud Connect, which enables fast, secure and reliable backup, replication and recovery to the cloud.

Veeam and OffsiteDataSync have a strong partnership, and the decision to open services in the Far East with the Veeam Cloud Connect platform has been part of our roadmap since 2014,” remarked Chesterton. “Our full portfolio of IaaS offerings will follow, but we wanted to lead with one of our strongest offerings, DRaaS built on Veeam.

The expansion of OffsiteDataSync’s Veeam-powered DRaaS and other availability services into Singapore is a natural progression of their success with Veeam Cloud Connect and exemplifies the synergy of our partnership,” said Mike Waguespack, VP of global cloud, Veeam. “We congratulate OffsiteDataSync on their expansion into APAC and are thrilled that Veeam Cloud Connect has helped fuel that growth.

OffsiteDataSync will continue to operate and grow in its North American data centers. The expansion broadens their presence into the Asian marketplace, and will further growth initiatives set forth in the world of BU/DR and IaaS services. Further initiatives for growth in 2016 include the EMEA market.
