New customers include University of Chicago, Hogart, Solid State Solutions

Cleversafe, Inc. announced triple-digit revenue growth in the first half of 2015, capturing new customers like the University of Chicago, Hogarth, and Solid State Solutions.

Partnerships with HP and Ericsson helped to increase the company’s reach during the first half of the year, as did continued customer acquisition across health and life sciences, media and entertainment, and service providers.

Our triple-digit growth pace from 2014 continued in the first half of 2015, both from new customers and existing ones,” said John Morris, president and CEO. “Our ability to service the largest storage customers in the world with unprecedented scale, efficiency and ease of management continues to fuel our growth.”

Continued Growth Through Customer Expansion
During the first half of the year, Cleversafe saw growth across its customer base and announced several new client relationships, including:

Object storage is no longer an alternative to traditional storage approaches but is becoming the primary solution to meet enterprises and service providers’ explosive storage needs,” said Ashish Nadkarni, analyst for IDC. “Cleversafe continues to be a leader in web-scale storage, driving industry innovation to stay one step ahead of an ever-changing market.”

Advancing Go-to-Market Strategy with Partnerships
During the first half of the year, Cleversafe also continued to align with strategic partners, including Hewlett-Packard Development Company, LP and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson. Cleversafe and Ericsson announced a global partnership agreement to bring next-generation data center infrastructure solutions to telecom operators. Cleversafe’s platform now serves as the underpinning of the Ericsson Secure Cloud Storage solution, helping to address the security and governance concerns that previously slowed full cloud adoption for enterprises.

With Cleversafe’s web-scale storage platform, Ericsson’s cloud storage solution can now offer petabyte and beyond scalability, maximum efficiency and carrier-grade security that our customers value, all within a policy-based environment to maximize data security and integrity as well as ease solution management requirements,” said Jason Hoffman, head of cloud technology, Ericsson.
