vScaler Integrates With Datera

vScaler Ltd, a cloud infrastructure and service provider built on top of OpenStack, announces its partnership with Datera, Inc., a provider of elastic block storage for on-premises clouds, at the 2017 OpenStack Summit Boston.

This partnership will deliver scalable private clouds for a variety of workloads, from databases to archival storage.

Datera’s adaptive data infrastructure is a natural complement to vScaler’s application-specific cloud platform, which integrates compute, storage and networking resources into a converged platform capable of running any application, at any scale. Datera Elastic Data Fabric (EDF) is architected from the ground up to be operated as-a-service and enables simplicity, scalability and TCO, all at enterprise performance.

By integrating EDF software as a back-end storage device for block storage, vScaler can provide multiple storage tiers using all-flash nodes and hybrid flash nodes for a wide range of applications allowing optimal levels of performance.
