2015 Revenue of €37 Million for Oodrive

Target of €42 million in 2016

Oodrive Group, a French pioneer of cloud computing in Europe, in data sharing, online backup and digital trust, announced its 2015 revenue and growth figures as well as the outlook for 2016.

Growth and international expansion
Oodrive announced full-year 2015 revenue of €37 million and a target of €42 million in revenue by end-2016.

Created in 2000, the company continues to deliver solid results, with growth figures meeting expectation. It employs 310 people in seven countries, in France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Brazil and Asia. Its solutions are used by over 15,000 companies worldwide and have more than one million users.

After 15 years in operation, we have scaled up to a size that gives us the human and financial resources to focus on continued robust growth in our international operations,” says Stanislas de Rémur, CEO, Oodrive. “We are also considering potential acquisitions in Europe to back our expansion ambitions.

From Start-up to Scale-up
Scaling up means new challenges. These include reconciling the competing demands for agility, innovation and management of a larger structure. Oodrive operates in a fiercely competitive market, contending with a constantly evolving legal environment and the need for continuous process improvements to keep pace with its growth. The firm has balanced these factors to move from start-up to scale-up.

This increase in scale is an important step for us,” explains de Rémur. “Being a scale-up also means that we have achieved the organizational mass to improve the allocation of resources and focus on growth.”

In the scale-up phase, a company grows its established business model to expand into the international market. To achieve this, Oodrive must adjust its organization and review its growth model, in terms of recruitment and management.

We now give strategic priority to recruiting scarce and sought-after profiles. Adapting our organization will drive skills development and ensure we attract and retain the best talent,” adds de Rémur.
