Intronis MSP Solutions by Barracuda Networks, Inc., provider of backup and data protection solutions for MSPs, announced it has expanded its offerings to include a subscription-based hardware solution, Barracuda Backup – Intronis MSP Edition. available in North America, Barracuda Backup – Intronis MSP Edition leverages Barracuda’s technology to provide MSPs with an appliance-based solution for their customers.

With the launch of the Barracuda Backup – Intronis MSP Edition, the provider also announced its new brand name, Intronis MSP Solutions by Barracuda. The new corporate branding enables the MSP-favorite to leverage Barracuda international brand recognition and heritage in developing solutions that provide businesses with end-to-end protection for their critical data and business applications. In September 2015, Barracuda announced the acquisition of Intronis with the goal of extending its channel reach into the fast-growing MSP market and meeting the increasing data protection and security demands of MSPs and their customers. The new brand name also reflects the synergy between the two organizations and a continued commitment to MSP partners and the larger IT channel.
