Qnap Supporting WD Red and RED Pro HDDs

QNAP Systems, Inc. announced that Turbo NAS products support the WD Red 5/6TB NAS HDDs and WD Red Pro NAS HDDs.

Designed for NAS applications and featuring NASware 3.0 technology, the Red and Red Pro HDDs provide reliability and performance for NAS applications.

The Red 5/6TB NAS HDDs are designed for NAS systems with up to 8-drive bays and can meet the growing storage demands of SOHO and home users. The Red Pro NAS HDDs are designed to provide HDDs for medium-to-large-scale business NAS systems with 8/16-drive bays.
