This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on July 31, 2014 at 2:47 pmSprint.com business clientele will have the option of adding Google apps onto their wireless plan.
The Google apps that you have grown to love will be available as an offering for business customers that can be custom tailored to your enterprise. Sprint will also provide 24/7 support for the Google apps on Sprint devices. Sprint announced that it will likely begin hiring on additional sales staff, product engineers and customer support representatives to facilitate the addition of Google apps within their network.
The company is maneuvering itself to become a single point of service for all of your organization’s mobile computing, networking and telecommunications needs.
John Tudhope, director of business product marketing, Sprint, says: “We really feel that we can differentiate on a couple different levels.” Tudhope continues by saying, “There’s a lot we can bring to the table versus a business having to deal with multiple vendors. We’ve seen over the past couple years a lot of discussion around cloud services with our current customers. It is coming up more and more in conversations. We just think we’re on the cusp of explosive growth in the U.S. for services like Google Apps.“
It will begin its campaign by opening up its corporate rolodex and asking corporations to sign on to Google Apps using their corporate mobile devices. The business is currently marketing to its existing clientele and the Google Apps product lineup is expected to launch on August 18th 2014. Pricing for these services is expected to be in line with what Google already charges. These rates should start at $5 per month. Rather than paying Google directly, Sprint notes that the charges will apply on the corporate invoice that is sent out to its business customers at the end of each billing cycle.
Tudhope also mentioned: “This is an agnostic type of offer, so whether a customer has one line with Sprint or hundreds of lines with Sprint, we’re happy to work with them.“
