Synology XS/XS+ Models With Five-Year Warranty

Launching in tandem with the RS3614xs, Synology, Inc. announced the standardization of warranties for current* and future XS+ and XS models to five years.

The extension covers limited parts and services for the duration, and includes unlimited online and phone support for the lifetime of the product. The warranty adds extra peace of mind to the company’s series of small-enterprise class RackStations.

The XS+/XS series provide enterprise features at an affordable cost. Delivering availability to minimize downtime, scalability for growing businesses, and virtual storage to reduce overhead and administrative costs.

Each product in the series comes with redundant replaceable parts; with some models including redundant power supplies. For an extra level of data protection all XS+/XS RackStations also include ECC RAM. These features are integrated to provide businesses with performance, no matter what their size.

Surveyed, and chosen by SMBs through PCMag, the business came in as number one for reliability, and awarded PCMag’s Business Choice Award. The five-year standard warranty, provides extra assurance for a long-term investment.
