Unifosa SAS JBOD Passed Windows Server 2012 R2 and LSI RAID Card Certifications

UNIFOSA CORP. announced that its SAS JBOD series has passed the Windows server 2012 R2 and LSI RAID Card (Syncro CS series and MegaRAID series) certifications.

The 6Gb 2U 24-bay SAS JBOD offers storage with hardware redundancy design and performance up to 2,400MB/s per channel, and it can integrate into Windows-based servers. This solution is suitable for datacenters but also SMBs.

The company’s solutions completed the verification process to ensure compatibility with Windows Server 2012 R2 and assure users performance and agility for deployment in Windows Server environment. The combination of LSI HA controller cards based on Windows Server can offer HA storage capable of supporting versatile applications. The clustering shared storage solution can help increase storage utilization and improve operational efficiency.

The 2U 24-bay SAS JBOD, EP-2246JD-S6S6 houses up to twenty-four 2.5” hot-swappable drives and supports 6Gb SAS or SATA HDDs or SSDs in a 2U chassis. It features a modular architecture for all key components which facilitate system maintenance and management. The EP-2246JD-S6S6 also offers GUI management to monitor enclosure environmental conditions remotely. It utilizes SCSI enclosure services to monitor enclosure and disk conditions, such as temperature, voltage, fan speed and power supply status, etc. There are two models available as well, including 2U 12-bay EP-2126JD1-S6S6 and 3U 16Bay EP-3166JD1-S6S6.
