Synology Presents Two NAS: DiskStation DS414j…

Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, it delivers performance in its tier: an average 112MB/s reading in a Windows environment, and 80MB/s writing. The built-in floating point unit enhances the overall capability of the main CPU, and is advantageous in speeding up thumbnail processing. It consumes 36.7 watts in full operation and 8.5 watts in HDD hibernation. The airflow and noise dampening designs make it cool and quiet compared to PC counterparts.
It runs on DSM 5.0, an OS that provides a host of applications to bring better productivity at work.
Synology was voted as PCMag Business Choice Award 2013 winner and received the highest rating in every element of the survey, including reliability, overall satisfaction, value, and likelihood to recommend.
