Datanator Apps for Android, Apple and BlackBerry

To synchronize data across smartphones and tablets

A service called Datanator (Lollasksi Limited) has been launched to enable smartphone users to synchronise their data across various smartphone and tablet devices.

Available for Android, Apple and BlackBerry devices, it is a cross-platform cloud-based mobile data syncing solution. The service enables consumers to backup, manage and synchronise the content held on their mobile devices. The apps and web platform have been created by Lollaksi, a provider of mobile solutions and services.

It synchronises and manages mobile data between Android, iOS and BlackBerry OSs, providing users with access to a cloud in which their data is stored. It works across OSs to give users the flexibility they need when using different devices.

Imagine you’re out for the day, taking photos on your iPhone and later, you want to show them to friends on your tablet,” explained Alex Moon, commercial manager, Datanator. “That’s fine if you’re using an iPhone and an iPad. But what happens if one is an Android device? Datanator is like iCloud, but device-agnostic, so it will ensure that all your content is synchronised across both devices in real time and that you’ll never miss a trick.

Designed for anyone concerned about data synchronisation, protection and backup, it allows users to transfer their data between devices and know that it is always backed up to the cloud using security protocols. Access and control is managed online via a web-based content management platform, so that consumers can organise, backup and manage their data. Users can access and sync their mobile content, including photos, videos, contacts, documents, calendars and more from any device, with synchronisation a one-touch task.

With the proliferation of mobile devices, many consumers don’t want to be restricted to a single OS but keeping data synced and backed up across multiple OSs has, until now, been a time-consuming and imperfect experience,” Moon added.

With integration into mobile OS, the service gives users access to their personal data, irrespective of the device and OS. It frees them from the task of manually transferring data between devices, whilst the backup removes the fear of losing data when a phone is lost or stolen or when upgrading to a device. It also means they are not tied into a single OS because data can be shared across different platforms.

The web platform and apps are free to download, and users can purchase a storage package to suit their requirements, paying monthly or annually. It is available with a month’s free trial until 13th January 2014, with storage and payment options to suit requirements. With one price for one account, there is no extra charge for additional devices. Users can choose how to divide their storage space and backup their contacts, calendars, tasks and events, notes, SMS, photos, videos and documents.
