Outlook Restore Toolbox Updated
Restore and convert files for export
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 22, 2013 at 2:29 pmRestore Tools (Restore Tools Inc.) presented an update of Outlook Restore Toolbox.
The program is based on a new file analysis engine that relies on several heuristic algorithms that identify the maximum of recoverable data in damaged files and restore them. This Outlook restore solution supports two operating modes: data recovery and conversion. The former allows the user to recover a damaged OST/PST file to Outlook, while the latter can be used for healthy OST/PST storages and exporting their contents to a set of files on the user’s HDD.
The converter mode is also intended for converting OST (offline storage) files to the PST format. The product is not limited to recovering messages and attachments only – the scope of recoverable data includes tasks, notes, contacts, journal entries and other Outlook items. During the recovery process, the program does not modify damaged source files, thus allowing the user to resort to alternative recovery methods, if necessary.
“Since Outlook Restore Toolbox has always been high up on our list of best-selling products, the decision to update it with the new core was quite obvious,” commented senior product manager at Outlook Restore.”The result was surprising and inspiring – our benchmarks showed a considerable increase in performance and quality of recovery from severely damaged files that the previous version of the product had problems with.“
