Storageflex AutoStor Management Software for SMBs Available

Storageflex Inc. announced the availability of Storageflex AutoStor Management Software.

The software delivers automatic data storage, backup and archive management solutions to SMBs and helps manage the compliance needs of organizations found in industries such as legal, healthcare and financial services.

The software offers storage management when combined with the Storageflex 3945N SAN NAS hybrid storage appliance or when residing on a Windows server platform of any brand with a standard NTFS file system.

It provides retention management capabilities with policy creation processes to move specific data sets – at pre-determined time intervals – from a primary storage device to other high-capacity near-line or remote storage media, such as RDX or SATA RAID. This ensures that the original storage server or appliance never runs out of capacity. In the event of data loss, a DR infrastructure is also in place.

Multiple retention periods can also be produced to support different data sets to meet a range of compliance needs for data migration to more storage archive platforms, including tape, optical, RDX and cloud-based storage technologies.
