Metavis Updates Backup for Sharepoint

It allows users to backup Office 365 SharePoint and restore content while retaining version history and metadata.
“Many Office 365 SharePoint users and customers are only looking to backup SharePoint content in case of network interruptions or for compliance purposes,” said Peter Senescu, president and co-founder, MetaVis Technologies. “The MetaVis Backup Power User Edition is an easy-to-use tool that allows businesses, Office 365 site owners or power users to schedule backup operations to a local drive or another cloud storage account such as Azure and Amazon S3; or even to network locations that are being backed up by their existing data protection tools.”
The products are agentless with no server-side controls required to install or deploy making them suited to backup SharePoint content stored in the cloud. Backup Power User Edition is based on Backup for SharePoint a component of the company Office 365 Suite that provides migration, backup and security tools for managing Office 365. It offers functionality that includes backup and restore of SharePoint sites or sub-sites, SharePoint lists views or structures and SharePoint permissions.
