CloudBerry Brings Azure Support to MSPs

CloudBerry Lab announced revenue opportunity for MSPs and Microsoft by supporting Windows Azure Storage in its white-label managed backup service.

It allows service providers to integrate their own Azure storage account with the managed backup service to store customer’s backups such bypassing high cost and complexity of building and maintaining own data center.

The importance of secure storage is growing, opening an opportunity for MSPs to extend their portfolio with backup solution to meet customers’ demand in cloud backup services. Using cloud storage service such as Azure as a storage with a backup solution like this one that automates backup process and ensures secure data transfer to that storage as two independent parts of one cloud backup service brings benefits in terms of security. Service providers control and manage backup process and storage separately, being able to access and restore customer’s data from the storage, in case backup service is unavailable.
