Unlimited Photography Storage, ShutterKeep, at $200/Year
And no bandwidth throttling
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on October 2, 2013 at 2:41 pmShutterkeep (Managed Offsite Backup, Inc.) has launched with aggressive introductory pricing.
Early adopters will enjoy unlimited cloud storage for $20/month with a smaller 2TB plan available for $10/month. Photos, including RAW files, are protected in their original resolution and never re-sized.
“Photo, graphics professionals and videographers create massive amounts of data and continue to struggle to backup and protect their work. For instance, many are still copying data manually to DVDs or swapping drives at a bank vault and doing this each week or month. It’s honestly a waste of energy,” said Stephen Gold, Shutterkeep’s project lead. “With the launch of Shutterkeep, all of a person’s digital creative material can be easily, automatically and privately backed-up to the safety of our cloud.”
“Every backup solution I’ve found automatically resizes photos to smaller sizes. Shutterkeep is the only solution I’ve found that allows me to backup all of my RAW and large files; my original work is always safe,” said Yury Polissky, CastingCall Photography in Santa Clarita, CA. “I’ve found Shutterkeep to be quick, reliable and at $20/mo, it’s a no-brainer.”
It protects all files from loss, including RAW and other large file types, by backing them up to a personal cloud folder. No bandwidth throttling, no file size or type limits and no limits on how many computers, HDDs or files can be protected.
The encryption technology protects files before they leave a customer’s computer and backs them up to the cloud via a connection where they are encrypted again for two layers of security at all times.
