Thecus Announces RAM Upgrade for Windows Storage Server NAS

The Windows-based NAS are also outfitted with an embedded SSD/SSHD which houses the software.
As the first line of NAS to deploy the WSS 2012 R2 Essentials software, the W series offers an enterprise feature set with a user-friendly experience. The WSSE software allows users to utilize a host of Windows features including storage spaces, data deduplication, and integrated cloud services while data management is made simple via the Essentials Administrative Dashboard.
With the ability to serve up to 50 clients, the WSSE NAS is an storage server for home or office environments, and at affordable price points that include the end user licensing, these NAS provide a value to customers.
The upgrade will be available for all three models in the WSSE series (W2000+, W4000+, and W5000+). The upgraded RAM will further allow users to enjoy the feature-rich WSSE OS with improved efficiency and performance.
The WSSE Plus Edition will begin shipping globally in April 2015.
