IT deployment of data center resources make the difference between a successful enterprise and an ineffective one. Company’s IntelliStack integration with UCS Director improves consistency efficiency and speed. Through the integration, enterprises are able to deploy flash storage technology from the firm supported with the UCS Director interface that manages infrastructure components including compute, network, virtualization and storage as well as public clouds such as Amazon and Azure.

Tegile and Cisco already have a long-standing partnership, but by further integrating our technology we’re helping enterprises optimize their entire infrastructure management process with the latest innovation in flash storage at its core,” said Rob Commins, VP, marketing, Tegile. “Extending our partnership with Cisco provides exceptional flexibility and power for our rapidly expanding enterprise customer base to increase their efficiency and leverage public cloud providers.

By combining IntelliStack with UCS Director, enterprises are able to replace manual provisioning and de-provisioning of private and public cloud data center resources with automated workflows, reducing delivery time from days to weeks. The company data reduction capabilities also lower capital expenses by enabling real-time monitoring, dynamic load balancing and optimum resource usage. As a result, enterprises better manage a breadth of flash-based workloads and easily scale applications to support their organizations.

Our customers use Tegile arrays and Cisco compute for a variety of workloads including scaling VMs, email and databases,” said Kerry Hand, director, business development, vZure Solutions, Inc., a Cisco Cloud Integration Partner. “We’ve received positive feedback that validates that together Tegile and Cisco provide seamless management of companies’ IT infrastructure.

Tegile’s integration with UCS allows UCLA to seamlessly manage storage, compute and network via a single user interface,” said Jarett Horinouchi, network administrator, UCLA Social Sciences Computing. “This makes it easy for us to scale applications and orchestrate workloads across VMs, and ultimately achieve a new level of efficiency in our operations.

The integration is a multi-hypervisor solution with support for VMware ESX, Hyper-V and Red Hat KVM hypervisors and public clouds such as Amazon and Azure. IntelliStack with UCS Director’s task library allows orchestration, workflow management, and single-touch deployment of VMs, hosts, and virtual networks. In addition, an OS guest support facilitates cloning of Windows and Linux VMs, and monitors host and VM memory and resource use.

The UCS Director integration is available for free via download and available to all of company’s customers.
