QuikStation 8

The QuikStation 8 is a flexible removable disk appliance and provides SMBs versatile opportunities for backup, restore, storage and DR. It is four to five times faster than the previous model and provides data transfer rates of up to 1,000MB/s.

The QuikStation 8, connected via iSCSI, allows an easy integration into physical and virtual environments and also for operation in hybrid cloud storage architectures. With a different operating modes, such as disk, RDX, tape automation or a combination of RDX and tape automation, the QuikStation 8 is n versatile backup solution.

RDX QuikStor drive

RDX combines the benefits of disk and tape, fast data access and long-term preservation. Together with high capacitive RDX removable media from Tandberg, the system provides online storage with unlimited offline storage.

The RDX QuikStor drive is designed for server installation and with the SATA III interface a quick removable disk system for storage and archiving. It provides read and write compatibility with all current and future RDX media generations and it is seven times faster as the previous SATA I model.

The QuikStor SATA III is suitable to backup individual virtualization hosts. The data throughput of up to 330MB/s enables an improved integration in Hyper-V and VMware. RDX drives are available as internal and external versions. The external RDX USB3+ drive with USB 3.0 can be used as an external USB HDD. However, it is much more robust and reliable. USB3+ is suitable for mobile operation, in the media and entertainment industry, for sales representatives or simply for the distribution of data to other locations.
