Coraid, Inc. introduced EtherDrive EX, an unified storage solution for block and file storage.

Building on its success as the provider of flexible storage architecture for large-scale clouds, Coraid is rolling out new solutions and features that deliver a more agile and automated storage infrastructure. With its high density and small form factor, the EX reduces the barrier to entry for cloud deployments, offering a compact solution capable of scaling to meet future demands.

The latest addition to Coraid’s modular architecture, the EtherDrive EX, provides flexibility to companies as they grow their storage resources. A 4U form factor provides up to 240TB of raw capacity. Because users can tailor its storage performance with a mix of SSD drives, NL-SAS drives and cache devices, the EX provides an elastic evolution to cloud architectures that have unpredictable growth.

The EtherDrive EX provides HA through its integrated dual-controller design and redundant components.
