Cepoint With 20Gb ThunderBolt NAS

Cepoint Network LLC released ADAGBA – RST enterprise Thunderbolt performance storage server system for UltraHD 4K videos.

Based on Thunderbolt technology, the 19″ rackmount storage servers are high speed multi protocol storage bare metal machines designed for high speed, high I/O bandwidth and features dual 10Gb/s data pipe channels that delivers audio/video/data in real-time to multiple devices.

This makes the systems suitable for Ultra HD 4K video processing, storage and streaming, and usage by CDN and cloud delivery services.

It allows professional videographers, A/V production engineers and CDN service providers to ingest, store, edit and playback multiple UltraHD 4K streams or uncompressed or compressed 3G/HD-SDI and HD (8-bit and 10-bit) video and multimedia content smoothly with no IO bottle necks.

Cloud services and CDN service providers will benefit from the systems handling of multimedia contents, photos, 3D animations and high resolution 3D graphics, storage and streaming to multiple audio and video devices or real-time audience.

In addition to the systems high speed/high performance dual 10Gb/s bi-directional channels, optional 10GbE and display port are also available. RAID-0, 1, 5, 10, 6 are standard. Current capacity is up to 48TB 6Gb SATA/SAS.

For gamers and those interested in though application or usage conditions, the unit comes in 4U 19″ rugged rackmount chassis with packaging that could withstand vibration: 1Grms (operating), 2G (N/O, shock of 10G 11ms duration , hal sine wave (in operating mode), and 30G (non-operating), RH 5% to 95% non-condensing and operating temp of 0-55°C. and runs on 110-240VAC or 28V DC /-48DC power option. The unit is RoHs compliant.

The system’s connectivity with other industry compute resources, regardless of vendor source, and management via GUI direct browser access also makes these systems for current and future storage growth and investment.
