Introducing NEXIS|E5 and NEXIS HA
NEXIS|E5 is an enterprise, dense storage engine that offers real-time editorial collaboration and highe level of scalability, performance, and client connections for large-scale broadcast and post-production environments. NEXIS|E5 provides 40GbE connectivity and 80-480TB of storage capacity per engine, with the ability to scale up to 1.4PB of capacity and 9.6GB/s of bandwidth, supporting more than 2,000 DNxHR HD streams or 500 Avid DNxHR 4K streams across over 300 connected clients in a 17U of rackspace.

NEXIS HA options increase the reliability and performance of NEXIS E-class storage systems for the most critical deployments. The NEXIS Redundant Storage Controller, Redundant System Director, and Redundant Networking options protect against potential hardware performance issues, while the Media Mirroring option protects an entire NEXIS system against up to five simultaneous disk failures, and an entire engine failure. Thanks to the openness of the MediaCentral Platform, NEXIS solutions work with all top media creation applications, including Media Composer, Pro Tools, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Grass Valley EDIUS. Production teams can quickly access a shared pool of virtualized storage resources, which increases their efficiency.

NEXIS enables virtualized storage to media organizations can adjust storage capacity mid-project, without disrupting workflows.
