Transcend Introduces JetDrive Go 500 Flash Key for iPhone/iPad/iPod

Transcend Information, Inc. iannounced the JetDrive Go 500 flash drive designed for the Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod*.

With a quality alloy construction, smaller size, and lighter weight, firm’s JetDrive Go 500 is equipped with both a Lightning connector and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 connector, providing convenient data transfer between Apple handheld devices and computers. Powered by company’s exclusive JetDrive Go App, which features a Shoot and Save function, photos and videos can be captured and saved directly to the JetDrive Go 500 flash drive without having to worry about insufficient storage space.

Compact and smart design
The JetDrive Go 500 is compact and lightweight, and is one of the smallest flash drives on the market. Available in both gold and silver colors, the JetDrive Go 500 boasts a sleek alloy casing. The extended Lightning connector allows the JetDrive Go 500 to have expanded compatibility with oversized protective bumper cases that prevent other flash drives from properly connecting without removing the case.

Lightning/USB 3.1 interface for unparalleled transfer speeds
The JetDrive Go 500 combines a Lightning connector and a regular USB 3.1 (Gen 1) connector into a single flash drive. The Lightning connector can reach up to 20MB/s transfer speeds, whilst the USB 3.1 Gen 1 connector offers incredible transfer speeds of up to 130MB/s, allowing users to transfer an entire 4GB HD movie in only 28s.

JetDrive Go App
The JetDrive Go App is free to download from the App Store, and features an easy to use and intuitive user interface. The App allows for everything from a quick backup of the Camera Roll to JetDrive Go 500, to simple transfer of files from your iOS device to another computer. The App supports a range of file formats, including image, audio, video, and document files. It also features a shoot and save function that allows users to shoot and save photos and videos directly to the JetDrive Go 500, without having to worry about insufficient storage space. In addition, the App organizes files into folders, photos, videos, and documents, simplifying file search and management for users.

Apple MFi certified to guarantee compatibility
MFi (Made for iPod/iPhone/iPad) certification, Apple’s licensing program for third-party hardware accessories that are intended for iOS devices, ensures accessories are both compatible and safe to use. JetDrive Go 500 has gone through an approval process to be Apple MFi certified to not only guarantee compatibility and safety, but also quality that meets Apple’s performance and manufacturing requirements.

The JetDrive Go 500 series is available in both gold and silver colors with both 32GB and 64GB capacities in each color. It is backed by company’s two-year limited warranty.
