BiTMICRO: MAXio Z-Series of PCIe Family of SSDs

BiTMICRO Networks, Inc. announced the MAXio Z-Series PCIe SSDs.

Powered by the BiTMICRO-patented Talino ASIC architecture, the new full height SSDs offer capacity, flash management, and performance for companies that need to support large volumes of application workloads.

MAXio Z-Series SSDs are based on the company’s Talino ASIC architecture and include two in-house developed ASIC flash controllers for enhanced application performance. They also supports higher storage capacities – up to 8.8TB in a PCIe edge card form factor-based on offloading the Flash Translation Layer (FTL) from the host server to the SSD. In addition, DriveLight Management Software allows users to simplify MAXio SSD administration with easy-to-use, interactive features.

The MAXio Z-Series PCIe SSDs are for enterprise applications including video on demand, database acceleration, online analytics, and file servers.
