$250 for 128GB, with GoPro verification

SanDisk Corporation introduced the 128GB (*) Extreme PLUS microSDXC card, one of the first microSD cards to carry the works with GoPro verification.

Works with GoPro, Inc. is a verification program for products that work with GoPro cameras. Once verified, products have the option to feature a Works with GoPro logo so consumers can easily identify compatible products for their GoPro. Additionally, the company is working with GoPro to ensure their products work optimally with GoPro’s lineup. The Extreme and Extreme PLUS microSD cards in 16, 32, 64 and 128GB (*) capacities have been verified as works with GoPro cards, and are recommended for the latest Hero GoPro cameras, the Hero4 Silver, the Hero4 Black, and the Hero Session.

The Extreme PLUS microSD cards offer performance, enabling users to quickly capture amazing moments, whether it’s skiing through fresh powder, scaling a mountain or simply enjoying a family vacation. Now with 128GB (*), users will also be able to store a significant number of media files simultaneously, including an estimated 96 music albums, 960 photos, and 400 minutes of 4K UHD video (1).

The Extreme PLUS microSD cards can capture fast-action photos, shoot continuous burst mode, or record 4K UHD video (2) with UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and UHS Video Speed Class 30 (V30) performance (3). The read speed of up to 95MB/s (**) saves users time when transferring high-resolution images and 4K UHD videos (2), making them for action cameras, MIL cameras and Android-based smartphones and tablets.

No matter where the moment happens, the Extreme PLUS microSDHC and microSDXC UHS-I cards are designed for, and tested in, the harshest conditions to ensure the highest standards. All firm’s Extreme PLUS microSD cards are shockproof, temperature-proof, waterproof, and X-ray-proof (4).

The 128GB (*) Extreme PLUS microSDXC UHS-I card will be available worldwide at an MSRP of $249.99. The Extreme PLUS microSD card is available in capacities from 16 to 64GB (*).
