Tuxera Integrates NTFS, exFAT, FAT32 and HFS+

Into Intel Atom solutions and MeeGo Linux

Tuxera, Inc., provider of Windows and Mac compatible file systems for Android, Linux and other platforms, announced at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show that it has released NTFS, exFAT, FAT32 and HFS+ for Intel Corp.‘s Atom Solutions and MeeGo Linux, and joined Intel Embedded Alliance.

Tuxera supports Intel’s latest consumer electronics hardware and software initiatives providing the its File System Suite to all Intel customers.

Tuxera file systems power new Intel Atom CE4100 based consumer electronics devices including smart TVs, set-top boxes, tablets and storage appliances from the manufacturers.

Tuxera also supports MeeGo, an alternative Linux platform which Intel is developing together with Nokia. MeeGo is targeting mobile phones, tablets, netbooks and car infotainment systems.

We are very excited to empower both Intel’s latest ‘Visual Life’ initiative on Intel Atom CE4100 chipsets as well as the much awaited MeeGo platform with the market-leading Tuxera NTFS, exFAT and other file system solutions," commented Szabolcs Szakacsits, Tuxera CTO and President.
