This technology gives ShadowProtect SPX users the ability to rapidly virtualize backup images as guest VMs directly on VMware ESXi hosts without the use of an intermediary appliance or secondary conversion process.
VirtualBoot for vSphere is used in conjunction with ShadowProtect SPX backup and DR software and is included with every SPX license. It was developed in joint collaboration and participation with Vmware, Inc. through their vSphere APIs for I/O Filtering (VAIO) Program and is certified as VMware Ready.
