We were able to link SpotStorage, Inc. to the old Nubisio, Inc., thanks to the HQ address in Reston, VA.

Nubisio was taken by the bank in the mid- 2014 because of bankruptcy in the US. All the assets of Nubisio, including intellectual property, equipment and licenses were then auctioned in September. 2014, to become SpotStorage, Inc.. One of the investors backing the transactions was Bain Capital Ventures, who also backed Nubisio, Inc. at that time. You can find information about Nubisio at www.bainventurescapital.com but nothing about SpotStorage.

The start-up was backed by entrepreneurs and Bain Capital Ventures, to build "the next generation of cloud-enabled enterprise storage."

SpotStorage were supposed to do their début last fall, but after contacting by phone one of Nubisio’s co-founder, we learned that Spotstorage was let down and never launched. When you try to open the websites of SpotStorage or Nubisio, you get a forbidden error.

We first thought it was because of our IP location and tried to access to the website via VPN with an American server, but had no success. Last Twitter messages from SpotStorage were sent in November 2014, with no updates since then. Facebook page has also been removed.
