SEP Software Offers Upgrade Program to WD Arkeia Users

SEP Software Corp., in backup and DR software, will be offering a competitive upgrade program to all WD Arkeia users so they can switch solutions without major operational or budgetary disruptions.

This announcement is in response to many former WD Arkeia resellers turning to SEP to provide their customers with a reliable solution and WD Arkeia’s confirmation that they are no longer accepting new customers. To provide a seamless an easy shift, SEP will match all Arkeia customer’s licensing and renewal costs.

SEP backup and DR solution, SEP sesam, offers a single backup and DR solution for multi-OS environments of any size, including physical and virtual servers. SEP’s newest release of SEP sesam presents all the same features and functionality as further expands the list of supported platforms, simplifies the ease of use and provides a rich set of product features.

SEP’s latest release is a backup solution that also provides agentless single file restore functionality for NSS volumes on VMware, as well as VMware Instant Restore, a feature that eliminates restore times for VMs. These new features adds to SEP’s existing support for VMware and provides a valuable component for all enterprise customers. SEP’s agentless technology for VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix automatically displays the virtual hosts/guests in the GUI, simplifying planning, management, and execution of the automated backup processes. Using SEP’s interface in conjunction with Multi-Streaming Technology has enabled SEP to provide the fastest VMware physical and virtual backups in the industry.
