Power App Disk Cleaner App With Data Analysis for Mac ($3)

Power App AG announced Disk Cleaner! 1.0.0 for OS X, a Mac app to clean the HDD from leftovers and files that are not needed anymore.

Among Disk Cleaner!’s features is its ability to detect and remove browser cache files for all modern browsers. Users can easily and effectively free up tons of disk space by removing gigabytes of unneeded files from their HDD.

A lot of apps leave a trail of data on the HDD, that are not needed anymore. These can be application caches, browser caches and certain log files. Over time they are piling up, eating away a considerable amount of disk space. Data litter on the HDD may kill performance. It is to increased reading and writing times. And it is not healthy for the disk either. Especially the health of SSD suffer from increased writing cycles. Cleaning the disk from all these leftovers can be done manually, but is very time consuming and inefficient. Deleting all the files in one wipe is not a good idea either.
