Nakivo: Backup and Replication V3.7

Supports Linux LVM and Windows dynamic discs

NAKIVO Inc. has announced the release of NAKIVO Backup & Replication v3.7.

After a completion of the v3.7 beta program, the company has released the version featuring support for Windows dynamic disks for file recovery, support for Linux LVM disks for file recovery, and also performance and reliability improvements. Customers can upgrade to v3.7 free of charge.

With NAKIVO, I am replicating an ESX environment between Edison and Princeton (30 miles apart) just using a residential internet service. This is awesome,” said Kiran Agrahara, senior technologist, B-Hive Group. “Compared to other products I have evaluated, the NAKIVO VM replication feature and transporter architecture gives NAKIVO a 5 Star rating.

Linux LVM and Windows dynamic disks are used in virtualized environments and their support has been requested by a number of customers.

Rapid delivery of new features is one of the keys to our success,” said Bruce Talley, CEO and co-founder, NAKIVO. “Through regular reviews of support cases, feature requests, surveys, and Beta program results we are able to identify real customer needs and quickly respond with a solution.

Built for virtualization, it offers a data protection feature set for virtualized environments, including local and offsite VM backup and replication, support for live applications and databases (Microsoft AD, Exchange, SQL, Oracle, etc.), granular recovery, network acceleration, global data de-dupe, web UI, AES-256 encryption, advanced reporting, and vCloud Director support.
