Fasetto Debuts Messaging 2.0 for Mobile and Web Platforms

Messaging 2.0 is the slickest iteration of company’s messaging capabilities yet, as Live API makes it an messaging available cross-platform, cross-device. Since its launch, Fasetto has been the cloud storage platform with built-in direct communication features. The latest release of Messaging 2.0 puts user experience at the center of company’s offering, making messaging as robust as its cloud storage and file sharing components.

Messaging options provide users with a experience that includes full control over how they share and discuss their content, and an all-in-one holistic mobile and web platform. Messaging 2.0 brings users consistent connectivity with zero latency between messages across platforms, or devices. Users can both share files, and chat with contacts within the messaging window with no need to take collaboration and discussion of the file to a third-party application. The messaging feature acts as a central space within the platform to both share content and simply chat without being tied to a specific file or folder. Messaging 2.0 offers Android users a view-only option, allowing contacts to view files within chat but restricting their ability to download them to their own device. Building on the existing feature that makes it possible for users to edit or delete any file on a recipient’s device, the view-only option allows users to maintain ultimate control over their photos, videos, and text documents.

Messaging 2.0 has further enhanced users’ ability to customize their experience. They were already able to backup all their contacts to Fasetto and invite them to chat within the platform. Users can edit their contacts in Fasetto from any device and import them back to the device’s SIM card. Customized avatar can be added to their profile from their photo gallery, or a range of preloaded illustrated characters. Fasetto brings all the components of chat-driven apps to its cloud storage and file sharing platform.
