The German company
euroNAS
GmbH
released its data storage product.
The OS for HA storage clusters (Failover Clusters) has been designed
to provide high-level redundancy for network applications with
minimum possible downtime.
HA
Storage
Cluster
OS provides possibilities for IT
professionals to build storage servers for critical data on a
network.
Maintenance with
minimum downtime:
The product uses
technologies that synchronize data between two servers in real time.
Servers will detect if the other goes offline and will take over the
services as well as the network address of the failed server without
requiring administrative intervention.
This functionality
is for planned maintenance as well as for failures and
crashes that happen in the computer world. A server in the cluster
may be taken offline for maintenance and brought back online without
interrupting connected clients.
HA
Clusters are particularly optimized for:
-
Network applications
with critical shared data
-
Storage
Virtualization
-
Storage server for
video surveillance
-
Storage for critical
databases
-
Workstations with
critical data
