Dmailer Enhances Backup Software for PC and Mac

Dmailer S.A. introduced the latest version of its software product, Dmailer Backup V2.9 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Dmailer Backup V2.9 is now available from Dmailer and its OEM partners and is the industry’s only fully integrated local and online backup solution, allowing multiple backup sets across PC or Mac, using a single interface.

In addition, Dmailer announced that Dmailer Backup V2.9 will be bundled with the new Lexar Echo SE and ZE USB backup drives, which were also unveiled at CES 2010.

Dmailer Backup V2.9 also includes the recently announced online storage service, Dmailer Online, which allows users to safeguard data by backing up secure copies to a remote server. Dmailer Online allows users to secure copies of files online for easy access from any computer and easily manage large files that may take up too much space on traditional storage devices.

Dmailer Backup V2.9 with Dmailer Online
includes the following enhancements:

• Dmailer Backup Manager – A new software utility that allows users to automatically and seamlessly backup their data each time they turn on their computer. Users can easily install Backup Manager on laptops, netbooks and desktop PCs and Macs. The software instantly detects a USB backup device and automatically launches a new backup, ensuring data is completely protected each time the computer is used.
• Cross-Platform Restore – Dmailer Backup is the industry’s first and only backup software application that allows users to easily backup PC and Mac platforms and restore data without installing any additional software. This feature allows consumers and business professionals working in mixed PC-Mac environments to quickly and easily backup files and applications.

Users may choose to subscribe to one of the three Dmailer Online plans; $5.99 a year for 3GB of storage, $34.99 a year for 30GB and $69.99 a year for unlimited storage. Dmailer Backup V2.9 priced at $25.95 is available immediately for download in 19 languages.
